This project will use models to develop noise abatement procedures for rotary-winged aircraft, then create a flight test plan to study whether the model-based flight procedures are effective.
The project also will use the modeling tools to demonstrate the ability to gather noise data for conceptual vehicles with advanced technology that can be used in the FAA’s Aviation Environmental Design Tool.
